The Garden is a program of the Northampton Parks & Recreation Department, but it is managed by a Garden Committee of volunteers and is maintained completely by gardeners. The Garden Committee consists of active gardeners who volunteer to run or coordinate many of the operational functions (registration, mowing, tool maintenance, etc.) that make the garden possible.
All Community Gardeners are welcome attend and observe the Garden Committee’s business meetings.
Those wishing to discuss an item with the committee at a meeting are asked to email email@example.com or use the form on the Contact Us page to have their item added to the agenda.
Meetings are typically scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at 6 PM. Meetings are held outside at the garden whenever possible. Please check the calendar for the most up-to-date information about meetings. While we do our best to announce meetings well in advance, meeting times and locations may shift without notice; please contact Northampton Parks and Recreation at 413-587-1040 to confirm a particular meeting.
Approved Garden Committee minutes will be posted here as soon as they are available, usually after the subsequent meeting at which they are approved.
